One of New York’s hottest Korean models shot a stunning nude pictorial for us at Amped Asia magazine.
Kyla Gray and Tony Yang are two of my favorite people to feature. We’ve posted pictures of Kyla before in previous issues, but this is the first time we’ve done a full spread with her. Tony Yang has been submitting amazing pictorials for us for the past few months and we absolutely love all his work.

Why did you begin modeling?
Because I believe that I am destined for bigger things in life. I can make a difference in the world, influence generations to come & help people’s voices be heard. I feel I am genetically blessed, so I am leveraging my physical attributes to make this happen.
What has been the best part of your modeling career so far?
Covering ground in the fight to change the perception of what beauty is. Growing up I saw blonde hair and blues eyes on the cover of magazines; women who are 5’10 and weigh 110 lbs. I have a chest and hips and I love cheeseburgers and french fries… I am 5’6” and people still want to photograph me and use my images. It’s a great feeling knowing that I am doing my part in paving the way for more women out there.
Your photos are fairly erotic & revealing. How do your family and friends react to your style of modeling?
Oh man.. (laughs) some really supported me and others were kind of angry. The ones that supported me could look past the actual photo & see my heart and passion. It just took the other people a little more time to come around. At this point, I have nothing short of an amazing support system. We all rejoice together when something good happens & we all feel disappointed when something doesn’t pan out. I’m really a very fortunate woman in that aspect.
What tips would you give girls that want to get in the modeling industry?
I have a couple of things I’ve passed on already.
1. Be cautious & follow your gut; if the photographer seems “off” they probably are. If something feels “too good to be true” it most likely is.
2. Don’t let anyone push you to do something you’re not comfortable with; find your comfort zone and stay there. It’s okay to say “No.” If they continue to make you feel uncomfortable you have every right to leave and wipe them off your list.
3. Keep moving forward; don’t let the bad times outweigh the good ones. Believe in yourself and surround yourself with people who believe in you.
What’s your best accomplishment up till now, and what’s one thing you want to accomplish before you die?
Hpnotiq campaign with Khloe Kardashian is my best accomplishment & I would love to make the cover of Playboy magazine before I die.

If you could choose to eat only one thing for the rest of your life (and still be able to live), what food would that be?
French fries.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Singing at the top of my lungs to Taylor Swift in my car.
Are you single or taken.
(smiles) I’m going to quote one of my favorite actors, Tom Hiddleston, in his GQ interview, “ I understand the curiosity. I hope when there’s really something to write about, then I’ll be able to talk.”
If you could choose money or fame, which one would you choose?
Money. I have dreams of making a difference for people around the world. I applaud people like Angelina Jolie and Emma Watson for insisting that their voices be heard for good around the world. Because of my background I feel very strongly about “The Drop Box” in South Korea (http://vimeo.com/41412962). I hope one day I can be part of why things like this flourish.
What’s the #1 key to good sex with your partner?
Communication! Don’t be afraid to tell them what you like or what you don’t like. Keeping an open flow of conversation while being intimate is key to make sure everyone is getting what they need.
What do you think is the hardest part about dating?
Finding someone who isn’t a creep (laughs). This goes for both men and women. There are some crazy men out there & even crazier women. I’ve always felt that you’re not going to find your soul mate at a bar while throwing back tequila shots… this just opens the door for crazy scummy people to make their way into your life.
What do you think about sex on the first date?
I don’t think it’s good or bad. Everyone is different and everyone feels a specific way with specific people. If you feel it’s the right time with 1 person & not the other… who am I to judge?
