Japan is known for having great things that come in little sizes. From intricate vending machine toys, sushi, and capsule hotels Japan is not exactly known for huge space hogging ideas. Minus Godzilla of course.

Now this may be a sensitive topic but the people of Japan are not immune to this size discrepancy as well. By no means are the Japanese the smallest among the worldwide height and size average, however generally both Japanese men and women are rather slim and on the shorter spectrum comparatively.

Which of course leads us to the even more sensitive subject of Japan’s breast size. Whether it’s nurture or nature Japan’s females generally are known to have smaller breasts given their smaller body sizes.
We’ll admit.. some of the data may be skewed.
However a recent study by Triumph International Japan, one of Japan’s most popular lingerie companies, may show that Japan’s breasts are actually getting larger!
Based on a study of the company’s sales data, purchases in larger size bras lead Triumph to believe breast sizes are growing. A glance at their data concludes that demand for A to B cup sizes have decreased while C to E sizes remained relatively the same with a small decrease in C and D sizes.
We get it Godzilla.. leave it to the AMERICAN version to overcompensate.
Now this might not seem like cause to usher in a new era of larger Japanese breasts, however E and F sizes have actually INCREASED! And considering that these larger sizes once only accounted for a meager 17% of Triumph’s total sales, Triumph’s data team concludes that such shifts in sales data may correlate to growing breasts.
