Recently a woman in China went into the hospital for nausea, and came out learning that she didn't have a cerebellum. For those of you that don't know, the cerebellum is a crucial part of the brain that controls motor functions. Not having the cerebellum would normally cause severe problems — only nine other cases have been discovered, and it was fatal in each other case.
In the case of this woman, she not only survived until her 20s, but she seems relatively fine except for a few irregularities. She didn't walk until age 7 and her speech was slurred early on in life. According to the article, she's doing fine right now except for a slight case of not being able to walk that well, a bad bout of headaches, and regular dizziness. The woman even has a daughter and is married and there were no complications with her daughter's pregnancy or birth.
Most likely she will be monitored and studied to see how the brain was able to adapt so well to her lack of a cerebellum.
