A restaurant in China has a very interesting policy. People who pass their judgment for having a “good looking face” get to eat their meal for free. Reportedly, patrons who want to take the test will scan their faces on the restaurant’s computer and then get judged by a team of “plastic surgeons.” The restaurant itself serves hot pot.
The plastic surgeons created a guideline for judging one’s looks, and chiefly among their rules is:
- Having the right color lips.
- The correct proportion between your mouth and nose.
- A pointy nose.
- A decent gap between your eyes and eyebrows might just land you a free meal.
The top five best looking people in the restaurant are offered a free meal (every 30 minutes), and their facial rating scores are posted in the restaurant publicly for all to see. Not sure what the restaurant gains from letting good people get their meal for free, but hey at least it’s going to get its 10 minutes of fame.
