You’ve come to LA to pursue the modeling world. How has your experience been so far?
So far my experience has been great. At first it was a little hard since I am new here, but luckily I was able to find true souls through mutual friends that have made me feel welcome. They’ve brought me into their group and made me feel loved. I love being able to live my dream out here and do what I feel like I need to do.
What are some surprising aspects of the industry have you discovered?
It is definitely tougher out here since the competition is bigger, but I’m lucky to work with a lot of people I didn’t think I would get the chance to work with. I’ve learned what my modeling niche is and what I can do to portray more of that.
You came here from Boston, and now you’re in LA. What’s the best part about Boston and what’s the best part about LA?
I love both Boston and LA. I can’t stand the cold though, I get cold so easily since I’m only 95 pounds, so the LA weather is definitely my favorite part. I also love that I don’t have to shovel snow anymore. The best part of Boston is that my family and friends are there and that’s where I grew up.
How is dating different in Boston vs LA?
In Boston I was in a long term relationship so I didn’t date around. I found myself in a lot of committed relationships living in Boston. In LA, I’ve been focusing on my career so I haven’t really been looking nor have I been dating, but maybe it’s that time again lol.
What’s one DM you’ve actually responded to?
Some DMs I respond to are people asking for advice on how to get started in the industry. I also answer some DMs randomly here and there just to get active with my followers.
What do you get complimented on the most?
My smile :)
Currently are single or taken?
I am single.
Why do you think you are still single?
I’m single because I haven’t met someone I have really connected with anyone yet. When I first moved out to LA, I just got out of a committed relationship so getting into another one was the last thing on my mind. But that was 7 months ago so honestly it’s probably because I’m a homebody and go to my best friend’s house all the time now and play with her dog. I don’t have time to meet guys.
What are some major deal breakers for the guy you’re dating?
So currently I am dating no one, but if I were dating someone, I really don’t like when people are too into themselves. I also don’t like when all they talk about is superficial things when there is so much going on in the world.
What’s the best way for a guy to get your attention?
When guys are hard to get, it grabs my attention because it makes me feel like I can’t get them. I know it’s kinda weird. Another way is if I see that they are a true and genuine person with good intentions.
What’s your current biggest obstacle in life?
My biggest obstacle in life currently is the fact that I keep getting sick! For some reason I’ve been sick for a month and might have to get surgery :( Let’s cross our fingers and hope I don’t, but that’s what is stopping me from modeling right now.
What are your plans for the new year (2018)?
I have many plans: working more on my career as well as working on myself. I also want to help those in need and I really want to learn to manage my time better so I can finally get a puppy
