Although this is a year old, I really enjoyed watching this little animation and wanted to share it with you guys.

It’s about a boy, a girl, and their relationship. Their modern storyline is juxtaposed onto a beautiful animation about 2 ninjas. The animation is absolutely gorgeous. The hand drawn characters are combined with an ethereal watercolor aesthetic. The film is inspired by Shanghai water ink and kung fu flicks.

It won several different awards. Most notably (to me at least), the AnimAsian Award at the Toronto International Reel Asian Film Festival.
